DrugKeeper Storage Cabinets
The DrugKeeper is for storing Meth and other illegal drugs
Introduction
The DRUGKEEPER is a containment cabinet for the drying
and storing of drugs. The airflow through the cabinet
contains any fumes, odors, or particulates given off and
ensures a safe working environment for personnel.
Meth Lab Chemicals
As the methamphetamine lab problem continues to grow,
agencies need to assess the health and environmental risks
of handling and storing these types of chemicals during
seizure until they can be properly processed and disposed.
Exposure to meth residues may
cause symptoms similar to those
experienced by meth users. In
addition, exposure to commonly
used ingredients such as volatile
compounds (VOC's) can cause
nose irritation, headaches,
dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and
breathing difficulties. Some of
these compounds are known to cause cancer.
Acids that are used can cause a burning sensation and
severe eye damage.
Storage of Marijuana
Exposure to toxic mold on marijuana plants, called aflotoxins,
can be extremely dangerous. The DRUGKEEPER is
equipped with HEPA filters than can contain these molds. In
addition the airflow through out the cabinet will help quickly air
dry 'wet' plants while the carbon filters within the cabinet will
help eliminate the strong odors that are present.
Storage of cocaine and other substances
Most illegal drugs can be safety stored
within the DRUGKEEPER to prevent
operator exposure during processing
and disposal.
